Cycle Counting (Navigator Voice 2013)

Navigator Voice includes a Cycle Counting module. Cycle counting may be performed as part of the picking or replenishment tasks, or as a stand-alone activity.

Please note: Your system will likely have been customised and may differ slightly from this process. Certain prompts may have been added to assist in workflows specific to your company, or removed to streamline the process.

Process as a Stand-Alone activity

• The operator speaks the location from which they want to start counting.
• Navigator assigns the operator the next cycle count job in the warehouse based on their current location.
• The operator is prompted to visit the aisle/bay/level and position to be counted. The location check digit is spoken to confirm the operator has arrived at the correct bin.
• The operator is prompted to count the 'remaining quantity' .
• If the quantity counted does not match the current bin quantity, the operator is prompted to recount the quantity.
• If the operator accepts the quantity counted, Navigator updates the cycle count job to record the counted quantity and mark the job as complete.

• Navigator automatically determines the next location to be counted.
